Welcome to my website. I am running as a conservative Republican for the legislature in NC House District 49 – which is located in the northwestern part of Wake County. I am a neurosurgeon who has also been active in supporting conservative candidates and issues for many years. I have also run a family farm business. In both these activities I have seen firsthand the increasingly negative impact of government intervention and regulation on healthcare and free enterprise.

We need to continue the efforts begun this year with the new Republican majority passing legislation to create a more favorable business environment in North Carolina that will eventually allow businesses to expand and create more jobs. I want to be part of continuing that push and using my knowledge of the healthcare industry to help shape conservative solutions that are affordable at the same time they provide the quality healthcare our citizens expect.
